  1. I just saw this on Pinterest, you have the cutest house I have ever seen!! Could you list some sources for your family room? I would love to know the wall color, and about your rug and curtains!!

  2. Thanks Jenni!
The wall color is "diving dolphin grey" by Colorplace, Walmart brand! Who would have thought?!
I actually made the curtains, and the rug is from Target.
I plan to get a tutorial up for the curtains soon.
    Thanks again!

  3. Corey,
I LOVE the half wall panels in your living room, it is truly stunning. How big of a project was this? Did you just use planks and paint the walls white, or something different? (my boyfriend and I are about to buy our first house in December, loving that I don't need to pay extra for already done when I can do it in time like you).
Love all the shelves as well, are these simply stained pieces from Home Depot?
Thanks so much, cant wait to see what your brilliant mind creates next :)
Kitchen is gorgeous as well, just paint, I cant wait!! :)

    1. Nichole,
How exciting, owning a house has been so fun! Honestly, we just bought this house a year ago (Our first buy), and it has been what inspired this blog.
The board and batten (the panels in the family room), added so much character to this room, and it didn't take too long. I did it by myself in 1.5 days, with 2 kids running around! I did start with painted white walls, and I used Primed MDF boards, so it didn't require any sanding or priming! Made life so easy and it was DEFINITELY worth the few extra bucks!
You are right! The shelves in the kitchen are just stained 2x8's. Actually, you have just inspired this weeks tutorial... check back in a day and I will have detailed instructions!
Thanks for reading, and I would love to see what you come up with in your own home!
      Corey
